We proudly supported RWE, the main sponsor of the 50th KVIFF. To help enhance the festival motto “Starring you” we prepared a show which enabled visitors to become a star in a movie. Using our software people standing in front of the green screen were actually acting in their favourite movie scene, and had a lot of fun interacting with famous actors.
During the live streaming event 3D effects of spiders, an octopus and a meteorite were also introduced . The RWE stand quickly become a very popular fun spot for both local and international visitors.
Actors and visitors received access to the RWE website enabling them to download a photo memory of their performance.
On 6 March 2015, in Berlin, our CEO, Milan Petr met with Hon. Minister. Tshekedi Khama, Botswana’s Hon. Minister of Environment, Wildlife & Tourism. Together we presented Hon. Minister Khama as well as Mr. Thabo Brian Dithebe, CEO of Botswana Tourism, with some live augmented reality projects for upcoming trade fairs in Cape Town, Durban & London.
Both Mr. Khama and Mr. Dithebe expressed their interest and support. The visitation to the Botswana Tourism Organisation’s exhibition booth was very well received and showed great promise for the use of our Augmented Reality technology at future events.
More than 22 000 visitors attended the 17th annual Namibia Tourism Expo in June in Windhoek. Together with our South African activation partner Virtually Anywhere we delivered a world class Rhino animation to support the SAB Miller ”Rhino in safe hands” project.
More than 2 000 people were captured with the virtual Rhino which means around 10% of all visitors to the show were delighted to have their own picture with this unique species.
SABMiller Namibia was the main sponsor and the activation fitted in well with their Castle Lager brand, which has made enormous strides across the African continent in saving Africa’s Rhino population from extinction by unlawful poaching.
